Barochan Place

Barochan Place is a formerly one bedroom flatted dwelling which forms part of a B-listed building at Barochan Place in Campbeltown and is within Campbeltown Conservation Area. The project, which extended the property into the attic to add 2 further bedrooms, a bathroom and snug, has been shortlisted into the under £100,000 category.

The design has sought to retain and enhance the architectural character of the original flat and to create a continuous and sympathetic style into the new attic. Whereas the occasional dormer extension has been added to other properties along the street, the aim was to create as little visual disruption of the roof form, and contain all accommodation within it.
